here is a vid of the last race at the Red Horse Ranch in Fergus Falls MN. in the first race you can see JAM @ Maxamps Caster Buggy at 2:10 as well as FMLinero's RC8 using the tekno conversion (purple body, yellow wheels).

My RC8T makes an appearance at 10:08, which you can see is the only brushless truggy there (doesn't need a drop at the start).

Sorry, I responded to the wrong message

I hand built every part of the conversion. The radio tray was the stock nitro one that I attacked with a dremel. The mount for the monster was also something I made up myself although it was about 1/2 hour worth of hacking and milling, didnt put alot of thought into that one.

I have to be sneaky with the pics as my wife doesnt really know about it yet.

I have the body getting painted hopefully this week. I will pull it apart when the smart diffs come and take some pics of the mount and battery tray quick connect system, other than that, it is just a normal 8T 2.0. If anyone wants a .dxf file I have it modeled in 3d. I could probably post .jpgs with dimensions if anyone wants to manually mill one as well but doesnt have acad to read the .dxf.

That must have been the first qualifier when my battery tray flew out.

Doesn't look like anybody had traction. What was the tire for the day?

I think most of the video was from the qualifiers and the track was still real wet. Later in the day it dried out pretty good.

goosebumps on my truggy worked quite well in blue compound throughout the day.

For buggy, went with double dees blue compound when it dried out a bit. Prior to that, a goosebump would work well.

AKAs cityblocks I think are popular.

Yeah there was a lot of talk about the AKA's I ran panthers on the buggy. I don't worry about traction..just staying on the track is my main concern. LOL

The diff is all on the table. Not sure what else you want to know. It's got kv, power, weight, length, current and more.

Hey all,

We're headed over to the Nitro Pit Challenge in Arizona to race some electric. Kind of ironic, huh? Anyway, if anyone is in the area, come on out and race with us. It's going to be fun and Joey (the race organizer) has gone out of his way to make some special arrangements for an electric buggy and truggy class. Let's show him some support and represent our new class with some numbers. Bring 'em out and we'll see you there!!

The Nitro Challenge is going to be the biggest race of the year!

E-1/8th might not be the biggest, but the race it's self is going to be OUTRAGEOUS!

I hope a few others can make it out!
