Not when you have your (much) heavier battery opposite from it.

Is that moved over even farther than stock? If so, the front drive shaft is going to have a short life!

The center differential is in the stock position.

Alright guys, I diden't get to reading the entire last thousand pages of this thread. But a quick question; Whats the best electric converson kit for the losi 8ight-T? Is the Losi converson kit any good? Is it compatable with all the motors & esc? Do the batteries last longer by keeping the servo brakes?

Default LOSI CONVERSION KIT

That is what the bunch of guys I race with have used in there 8T. Son and I bought the race rollers and everything went into place without a problem. Everyone is running a Castle Mamba Monster. Very exciting racing. All power and speed one needs. These things jump just great and are correctable while in the air. Have no complaints.

awesome mount! if you made one for the vorza/D8 you would sell at least 15-20 of them right off the bat! i started a thread asking for someone to make one for us, plus i posted on the grid rc thread.

Hey guys, i havent run my 8T in over a year,..

just got a new 4s 6500mah Hyperion, and harder gimbel springs(one broke an i need firmmer joystick feel) for my futaba tx, im a quadrapaligic so i use a 6 channel plane tx an use it like a joystick gas/brake left/right all on one stick....

anyway i just updated my MMM to 3.30.3 software

what setting are u running on ur truggys
PUNCH CONTROL
TORQUE LIMIT
MOTOR TIMMING
BRAKE AMOUNT
DRAG BRAKE
??????????

Does MOTOR TIMMING give more speed& torque or just torque?
What is the diffrents betweennPUNCH CONTROL and TORQUE LIMIT?

and what setting will help stop my truggy from wheeling an flip over?

In the Castle Link program, you can click on the question mark by each setting and it gives a fairly good description of what each adjustment does.

Higher motor timing will give you more RPM, but less torque.

Punch control I believe is a rate of change type of limiter. It sets a limit on how quickly the motor can spool up.

The torque limit is a rpm sensitive current limiter (torque is a function of rpm and force so a constant torque function of both). The torque limit should prevent wheelies. The punch control may help as well. Play with both of them and you will get an idea of how they work.

I run MMM with 2000kv on 4s and 5s.
PUNCH CONTROL-- %80
Start power-------low
MOTOR TIMMING--0
BRAKE AMOUNT---50
DRAG BRAKE ------0

To dial the power back I use the trottle EPA on my radio.
I have had no reason to advance my timing. Only need to run my motor on about 85% of power just on 4s.

Are you running a metal spur gear? Metal spur to metal pinion is loud. But if you are running a hardened pinion, it is nothing to worry about.

The stock AE metal spur is really loud. I built a Losi center diff so that I can use their 43 tooth plastic gear. Even the Losi metal spurs are much quieter than the AE one. Did you use this gear when the car was nitro?
