I know this is all I've been thinking about today. I think your right Reenmachine the R8X will be the speedo to have for this. I'm a bit suprised that Novak is so far behind all the other speed controls

The really annoying thing is when some stupid driver gets pissed at the marshal when they are the ones that crashed. The worst is when they try and actually hurt the marshal. Idiots should be kicked off of the track.

OK, so like most people I don't have time to read the 15,600 posts on this thread. Is there a comprehensive guide on all this somewhere? Should we ban together to write a wiki on wikipedia on this?

Of course, we need to be able to cite sources on wikipedia and i'm not sure how open or unbiased current sources are.

Just thinking out loud.

Which body do you use for a converted 8ight? I'm going to be running the Losi conversion with the Neu 5S battery packs.

The 8ight-e body.

A little hard to find right now (there is one on ePay) but Losi will do another run of them soon. Fits the electronics and has nice air vents. Another option I have been considering is the JConcepts high flow--I think it is for the 2.0 but should still fit. Not to sure how well it accommodates electronics but someone in the 8ight-E thread posted one a while back and said it worked just fine.

Nice.. Will the stock 8ight body fit? At least temporarily? I guess I'll check e-blag and see what's out there for e-8ights.

I hear it will fit but with some modification. Many guys will also drill holes in the windshield or install screens. You might have further challenges getting a good fit with a larger 5S. I want Pro-line to make one for the Losi 8ight-E.

hey guys im about to start converting a hyper 7 buggy to brushless and at the moment im putting together a parts list and just working out what i will need and for the motor plate i will have to buy 1 because i dont have the equipment to machine 1 . i know that these 2 will work

emaxx motor plate : http://cgi.ebay.com/E-Maxx-Blue-Heat...3A1%7C294%3A50
and a fabricated 1 by a company just for brushless hyper 7's:http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...=rcmhypermount

but both of these are unavailable to me at the moment because i live in malaysia does any 1 know if this will work ? http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/rc-laz...595_736_903its a kyosho zx 5 motor mount the only thing that worries me is will the well on that fit the hyper 7 shaft it looks like its to high on the motor mount
