Angry MANIFOLD GASKITS!!!!!!!

Can a damaged manifold gasket cause the engine to act up?

Also I just cracked the rear pivot block on my LOSI is the graphite pivot a better piece?

engines are meant to work when everything is sealed, and if a certain area is compromised, then yes it very well can cause an engine to act up.

As for the pivot, I don't think losi makes a graphite pivot for a gas truck, if that is what you are talking about. Pivots break, stock up on them, that is the best you can do!

I just bought a graphite rear pivot block for it!!!!

And I was wondering if it would cause it to have less top end power and stalling!

yes as you found they do make graphite pivots blocks. and yes a damaged gasket or loose bolts would cause those type of issues with your motor.

Forget the gasket. Just use automotive silicone.
