JConcepts Thread
Check out this video on various mods to carpet tires. Should be helpful.

JConcepts is unresponsive to my email request. Hopefully a JC rep is still active in this thread. Base on past posts, JW may be a rep?
Anyway, a few questions:
Anyway, a few questions:
- It appears that the Dirt-Tech Wheel Foam Grip [JCO3241] product has been out of stock on Amain, and on the JC website, for years. Is it still a product that can be purchased, and if so, when?
- Are the gray tire foams available for purchase separately?
- Is the Kosmos tire a viable replacement for the Pro-Line Blockade? What has the feedback been like here in the USA?

- Unfortunately 1/8th buggy foam is always at a premium for filling the tire orders, so there is almost never a surplus to sell separately. A lot of the times tires show out of stock, it's because there isn't enough inserts.
- Kosmos are a great tire for dusty, rough, blown out (med/high bite) conditions. That tire was used to TQ the 2020 DNC at the Dirt.
Just following back around. Got to run some combinations of fuzz bites rears, pin swag rears, fuzzbite fronts for both 2wd and 4wd buggy. All in all for our track conditions I felt the pin swag rears felt better on the rear of the 2wd and 4wd buggy than the fuzz bites. felt I got a bit more consistent rear rotation with them, though, I could probably adjust some setup things to compensate when using fuzz bite rears.
2wd front fuzzbites are an awesome tire. love the steering they provide.
4wd front fuzzbites had way too much front end grip, I am going to play with this more as even using a set of worn ones a buddy lent me that had some sidewall gluing done, when dry they were a hair pushy but I was alot more consistent, sauced those worn tires and they were back again to being on the too grippy side. in comparion when running some new schumacher fusions v1s, those with this setup (this setup was original developed for those tires from what I am understanding) none of that rolling issue, but I like how the profile on these tires are.
Anyway, PW, you mentioned that you glue the 4wd fuzzbite fronts, can you confirm the following:
- How high are you gluing the fuzzbite fronts? (ex- full side wall, full sidell and some of the top (where if so), etc)
- Are you gluing only the outside or both inside and outside?
- Do you do any trimming of tread on those fuzzbite fronts at all?

I actually don't race 4wd anymore, but my feedback is based on working with my drivers from JConcepts. Our guys at the Florida Carpet Champs were gluing the full sidewall and into the bars slightly for the mod class. We are also always looking and developing new stuff, so
Nice feedback.

Oh and assuming they use the cut foams as discussed, that right?
Good stuff. I got word from another driver I trust as he is very fast that reverses the direction of the fuzzbites and then glues the outer sidewall there. Have your drivers had any info on doing that? The driver who mentioned this said it calms them down a bit.

Traction was really high, so most of us went back to full foam or 3/4 in the rear. 4wd front was just a small piece roughly 8mm wide.
