Thanks for the info, but I'm not going to buy it until I know for sure.

Same here. Looks like Spencer and Cav had it on their e-buggies at the DNC.

Will the new S3 RC8B3 Body fit the Ebuggy?

The nitro body will fit when using the newer style 4-cell LiPos that are a slightly lower profile without any issues. If you are using the larger/oversized packs (battery mounted on its side), then the body just touches the velcro battery strap and may or may not push up the body about 1mm. I've seen a few guys just run a 1 or 2mm shim under the front body post for a little extra clearance. Most of our team drivers are using the S3 Nitro body on their eBuggies :sneaky:.

We may make a version for the eBuggy, but not sure how soon.

We don't have one, so our drivers are using the kit body.

What's the hot setup for open cell foam in Buggy these days? This summer will be my first time running 1/10 outdoors and looking to see who's trimming what and where. I got some 4wd buggy front and the foams are the same as the rears. I'm assuming those need cut down to the proper width, right? I can't see stuffing the whole thing in. Also, just trim the corners off is still working? Any help is appreciated.

Ehhh, i just run closed cell up front.

For 4whl fronts I just trim 2-3mm off the width and stuff it.

All the open cell foam I trim the inside at 45deg angle. I've just always done this. I leave the outside alone.

Front tires I use 3/4 rear foam and stuff.

If someone could help out, I'm looking to start running JC but I'm looking for a tire similar to the gridirons or holeshot for 1/8 buggy.

the triple dees may be what you want:

I have a similar question, but would want a tire that is more beefed up like a proline blockade or say a switchblade.

I would recommend our Tripple Dee's and or Reflexes in Green (super soft) & Blue (soft) compound. Ryan Maifield and Ryan Cavalieri finished 1st and 2nd in Pro-eBuggy and 1st and 3rd in Pro-nitro buggy at this years Dirt Nitro Challenge using Reflexes. They also finished 1st and 3rd in Pro-truggy with Reflexes. Both of these patterns should excel in the same conditions of the tires you mentioned :sneaky:

Our guys seem to have great results with the Reflexes even when the other teams make the switch to the larger lugs. That is one of the reasons they really like this tire, they are able to qualify and race (longer mains) on the same tire keeping the setup & feel the same going into the mains. However, if you need a beefier tire, then we have Diamond Bars, Remix, and Chasers.

The Silencer 3.0 fits just fine. It's a little tight on the width, but it works great. [IMG]https://scontent-dft4-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9

Reflex all day! It's like cheating!
