Ya I would have ordered them days ago if it was free, or cheap shipping.

Is the offset on the T4.1/.2 hex rims the same as those used by Durango and Kyosho Stadium Trucks? Just curious if I get a different truck if all and the hexes are different offsets. Thanks.

The Kyosho uses quick change wheels, which only they make, and the Durango uses a 15mm hex while the AE uses a 12mm.

I don't think so.

Do you have any news of a release of a Bodyshell for the RT6 mid motor or when the T4.2 centro bodyshell will be available?
Nothing at the moment and I haven't heard any updates on the T4.2 Centro.

Are there any plans to make bodies for the Serpent 2wd buggies?
Yes

Why are the Dirt Webs so expensive?
Cost of materials/manufacturing/production/operation goes up each and every year and at some point it has to reflect in the pricing. I will check into the website pricing though.

Shipping cost
We obviously don't ship the large volume of retail product like an AMain Hobbies, Stormers, etc; so we don't get the volume discounts with UPS, FedEx, etc and they are increasing our rates year after year as well.

Understood that cost is going up, but $16 for a pair of tires is crazy, when your others ie barcodes are like $11.

Re: shipping, understandable you don't ship out as much as amain or other big dealers. For a pair of front and rear dirt webs I was quoted $14 for ground, $16 for priority.

For two sets of tires that is super duper high shipping costs, I ship things often and the rates aren't anywhere near that, for such small/light items.

double post

theblitzkidd 01-06-2014 06:52 AM

They prolly use a different means of shipping than usps lol

Wait until Amain has them in stock.

You also have to understand. If JC lists them on their website for cheaper than their distributors/companies sell them for, then they will lose those people supporting them, thus taking money out of their hands. They have to keep it where the price is competitive still, but doesn't hurt the companies who sell them in larger bulk.

With the shipping, shipping personally, and shipping as a business has 2 different needs. Regardless if it is a 1 lb package or a crated container. I live an hour north of JC HQ and because of my work schedule chose for shipping instead of pick up, but my shipping was 7$. Paul already explained this, but with shipping as a business insurance is already included, where personal shipping it is an extra charge/option to purchase.

Now I know I just have to get "sick" during the week when i have a tire order, lol.

That's my plan, I don't have enough disposable income to justify spending so much on a set of tires.

PW answered you in a timely, and respectful manner. In my eyes this discussion is over.

Back to important things like this Serpent body you speak of? :sneaky: I can be a test dummy if needed!

I asked for the website pricing to be checked as it might be an error and it was; the pricing has been updated. The tires did have a price increase though.

As for shipping; I believe our website pulls its shipping quotes from UPS, FedEx, USPS directly based on zip codes and weight (orders/packaging is minimum 1lb). It appears you are from Washington State and we are in Florida, so it doesn't get much further away than that. I will say the priority mail seems a little high though. If you would like an exact quote, please contact us directly [email protected]

Now lets get back to discussing JConcepts product and racing for the 2014 season
