With Chevy's announcement of the 2014 Silverado, http://cdnedge.vinsolutions.com/deal...live628opt.jpg I'm interested to see how it would work as an SCT body, Should I expect to see a Hi-Flow edition of this body?
Also, I'll be hoping to see one of these in 2014.

Just ream 4 holes in the top of a cardboard box and paint that
(High flow, cut vents in the back of the box)

so is the black compound more like an M4? I always felt like m4 was softer than green. its why I ask.

M4 and green are both the same compound (Super Soft) Black is a Mega Soft compound. (Softer than a green or M4)

yeah, I know. but super soft is a just a label. I doubt there is an industry tires softness standard. I was told the black are natural rubber, but its unconfirmed. I dont even know if that is a good or bad thing, lol. My issue with the green compound has always been, it provides less bite than m4 for me.

Black drives like green after having a good traction sauce applied. The black compound really works in cold weather

I e-mailed it the same day; maybe the wrong addy or in a spam folder?

The new "Black" compound is our softest compound (softer than green) and is the same rubber as green and blue. When you hear people say natural rubber, they are referring to Gold or Clay compounds. We are debuting a new clay compound at the 2013 Reedy Race and it will be "Silver" compound; same family as gold.

It's just so track dependent (surface); slicks, tread, ghost pins, etc. I don't get to run Golds very often and when I do, its normally slicks. When I run gold slicks, I really like SXT 3.0.

I believe we are getting some greens, but not sure about blacks.

Is the Silver going to be softer?

Everyone at my track uses barcode gold which work great when the track is fairly dry but when they water it a lot they get pretty slippery.

I don't personally have any experience with them, but they do feel softer
