PW I finally had time to work with those Gold Pressure Points this weekend and WOW my 2wd Mod SC was hooked like I was running touring car. The only thing I took time do is cut the center mold down some so it didn't have that extra rubber that is left from the mold sometime. Well taking the time to do that really took the tires from a massive push to slot car status. Thumbs up on the new tire. The wear was very good overall for the huge amount of traction they made. RUnning the truck was almost like cheating. Probably the most hooked up I have ever been on a offroad track next to running pure slicks.

Yeah, the only reason I went with the Jconcepts is that they were the only pre-mounted that was suitable for my track, and in stock at Amainhobbies. The AKA pre-mounts were a little harder compound.

Thinking about trying the pressure points over the gold barcodes for my pro4 SCTE this time. How do they compare on indoor med / high bite tracks. I race at OCRC and west coast? at OCRC barcodes are definitely the tire of choice for pro4 right now.

I like the longer lasting side wall idea

thanks

I think you will be very happy with the Pressure Points. They have had great success at many indoor, as well as outdoor tracks.

Out of curiousity, anyone know how Ruona gets his high clearance wings to look ghosted/frosted so perfectly? I have used a type of sanding sponge, which has worked mildly well.

Most likely he uses a Scotch-Brite scouring pad. That's what the majority of us use.

I just picked up a set of JC hexes for the rear on my sc10. I've heard of problems that the aluminum will strip out since the screw is too short.

It says in the instruction steps included too not overtighten them, but will I need longer screw just to be safe?

Any link to longer screws on amain?
