I would use Goosebumps. They are great with a loamy track.

Not even close. If you want to convert your RC18 to a SCT just get the SC18 body. JC doesn't have a SCT body for the RC18.

The Mini SCT body is specific to the Mini Slash which is wider and longer than the RC18.

I was wondering what the difference was between the Manta body for the Slash/SC10/Ultima and the one for the Blitz (as in, where are the differences in dimensions/measurements)?

I actually have an Ultima SC and the Manta body for it, but my LHS has the Blitz Manta body on sale, so I was just wondering if it would fit alright on my Ultima SC so I could pick it up as a spare.

It's exactly the same body; just with different body mounting locations. Just make sure you mark or mount the body prior to painting.

Loamy or dusty? The two are usually thought of differently. Loamy=soft and moist/sandy with good traction. Dust = well, dust. Dry over hardpack w/poor traction.

Loam=Goosebumps
Dusty=subculture

Both will work decently in either condition FWIW.
