Reporting from the RC-ProAm showdown in Topeka KS, I ran blue ripps in the front with the new green V2 barcodes in the back, Tq'd and won mod buggy....nothing but awesome. Also Tq and win mod SC using green Bar Codes.

Anybody know what to put on blue barcodes to get them working? I have heard Diesel and Thinner? Anybody try this combo? I have pretty much gave up on the blue barcodes because I cant get any grip with them, they dont seem to like the same dopes as Losi Pinks? I race at CRCRC hardpacked clay/pulverized top soil and trying to give these tires a go and I just cant get any grip. There are people running these tires succesfully but are doping them.
Thanks

If your track has gone to blue groove you might not need to use any tire traction. Photos of your track would be helpful and we can point you in the right direction. Tire traction isn't necessary in all circumstances.

Of the drivers that are running them successfully, do you have any names that we might know? If known we can contact them and get you hooked up.

Tire break in is key with barcodes. Once broken in they are a real dream to run on. I can't wait to try the V2 I'm hearing about. I hope they have a different part number than the original one's.

Paul,
How you been? Any way that body would fit onto one of my brushless JATO's? I really like the look of that body. I just got back from the mid east doing contract work for the military. Christopher and I are getting ready to get back into the race scene. I will be running a Tigermoth set up.

I saw Proline is coming out with softer closed cell inserts for SC. Any plans on that for JConcepts? Still waiting for some pics of the V2 truth body for SC10. I know Tower has them in stock but would like to see some pics before I spend my hard earned coin.

There are some prepainted truth v2 bodies for sale on eBay, you can get a better look there & a small picture of it in the new Car Action 'Short Course' magazine. Hope that helps...

Question for somebody over at JC.
The insert on the left is from a new SC Carver. The insert on the right is from a SC Barcode I bought in December.
Has JC changed to the darker blue insert now for all of their SC tires? Just wondering because the feel much firmer to me and lack the sidewall support that the lighter blue insert has.
