my buddy is running one. i dont think he made any mods to make i work on the rc8be. I also talked to Thielke about it as he was running one. It rubs a tiny bit on the front of the battery running the Reedy packs.

If the body hits the battery then you can try cutting a little under the cut line and velcro the body on. That should give you some clearance.

Does the SC10 raptor body fit the scrt10 with slash rear offsets or do I need to purchase the manta? Are the dimensions basically the same?

Mini-Mod 10-05-2010 09:54 PM

A bigger single pin tire would be cool.

Does anyone know why the punisher for the rc8t doesnt have a roof like the other models do, say for mugen and losi. Also which punisher body for the rc8t doesnt have he cutouts for the motor? I want one for an etruggy.

You can use the regular body, just dont cut the holes in it.
That what I did when I ran an electric D8....

How about a cab forward for the Durango buggies

PW 10-10-2010 04:53 AM

I'm at a race right now, but I will try and answer everyones questions on Monday. Thanks for the support everyone!

Ostach24 10-10-2010 10:47 PM

Yeah, thats what I had to do with the one body, I would like a cleaner look though, without the holes thats all. The circle on my roof ticks me off.

RC8T was the first Punisher and things have progressed on the newer ones. We don't make a electric only truggy body; if AE releases a RC8TE then we will look into it.

Dimensions are pretty much the same; you may just need to trim the back out different for the bumper.

Ok someone from jc, what do I have to do to get the punisher to fit the regular b44 when it comes out. I second the punisher for kyosho rt5.

You will have to cut your chassis in the front to follow the shape of the body.

What's the latest on molded foam buggy inserts? Any positive results from testing? ETA?

Molded foams just don't work well in 10th buggy/trucks and tire wear is bad. However; we are working on profiled inserts for 10th scale and results have been good :sneaky:.
