It's a running change, so I guess it depends on how fast everything moves .

I have a question on the SCT Goosebumps tires.

I have heard of people using 1/8 buggy inserts in the tires and getting better performance. my questions are this:

- What performance difference to you notice going from the stock foams to a 1/8 buggy insert?
- What is needed to do this, other than the 1/8 buggy inserts?
- When is it best to use tires with the 1/8 buggy inserts versus the stock foams?

I haven't raced SCT so I will have to let some of the guys answer that might have some experience with the different inserts.

I have installed JConcepts 8th scale buggy foams in my SCT Goosebumps. What I can say is that the form of the tire is different which seems to effect the contact patch of the tire. Using them on carpet has been fantastic as long as I keep them from drying out.

I have not run them with the stock foams. The 8th scale foams have a wider form facter. They also crown the surface and control inertial growth of the tire when at high revs.

I was using this set-up on hard bumpy clay with loose surface dirt. They were not optimal for that surface. A softer insert would probably be better. I will be trying other tires this weekend.

The 1/8th scale foams don't match the shape of the Goosebumps which allows the tire to roll more in hard corners. Plus they seem to be too firm for some surfaces.

I use Proline Bowties V3 on my SC10, it helps traction better on track.

Why don't the blue compound tires like to stay glued up? I've been gluing off road tires for 12 years, and I've never seen tires come unglued like these blues. And yes I'm preping and using the proper glue.

We haven't really run into this problem, but I will say that 1/10th buggy blue bar codes seem to need extra cleaning. I personally clean my tires with Simple Green before gluing.

Are JConcepts ball cups any good? Are they better than the RPM ball cups out there?

They would be for my T4 and B4.

Thanks in advance.
