Yeah if your going to make something like this why not put alittle more thought into it? Make it so it covers the chassis and also fills alot of the inside of the body to help cut down on the parachute affect. Thats what would realy help.And why not add a driver? This looks like a little kid made it:lol:

My only concern is where is the heat going to escape from?? It will be like a toaster under that tray.

It's open in the back, behind the speedo; heat releases from there.

We had a race last weekend and it rained off and on most of the day; several Slash racers used the new tray (stock & mod) with great success. The races were 6mins in length and there were no overheating issues.

If your bashing in wet dirt (10+ mins) than you might want to keep an eye on the temps regardless if you have the tray and you could even put vent holes just above the speedo.
