Yes I am from Planet R/C. In fact you could say I AM Planet R/C. Stop in and check us out. Are you bringing your gear? Are you in town for the USGP, or on your way to St. Louis? See you soon.

LOL, I'm taking another weekend off from racing, so the answer is no. I would like to make it out there sometime.

d4man 06-14-2007 01:15 PM

Kevin, how long does it take you to get to McCulloughs? 3-4 hours? Thats not toooooooo bad.

OK, sorry for hijacking the thread.

Andy any news on the Double D's :)

Kevin Boyle 06-14-2007 05:28 PM

Not sure how long it takes??? Check with Wolfson, he has been out to Pit Stop before. I am hoping to do a wrap on RC10B4.com on the two races that we have had at Pit Stop Hobbies.

I have a fellow racer coming out just to shoot some photos on Saturday.

Andy,

I wanted to see if anyone would pick up on that. *whistle* Jason definately saw the pics. You are correct that the wheels arent Losi, but the ones on the other side are. ;)

Larger pics are up on the website now!

I heard that associated is taking over the bj4, is that true? If so are you still going to support it with parts, ect

Kevin Boyle 06-21-2007 05:36 AM

Andy,

I saw the new Jconcepts T-shirt looks Kool.

Looking forward to the Double Dees

You missed a great race over the weekend. Next year we are going to combine Electric and Gas truck Regionals and it will be at Pit Stop Hobbies.

We might also have Truck Race of Champions at the end of the summer? I am still working on that .

Bah! I figured. But I had a million things to do around the house. You know, Saturday stuff that gets ignored because I am racing on Saturdays and working on my practice track and cutting grass (for extra $$) on Sundays. :sneaky:

Kevin Boyle 06-21-2007 10:05 AM

d4man,

Pit Stop is about 3.5 hrs away from were you are at. I will try and get the Truck Race info out ASAP.

servo saver for BJ4WE

5 Attachment(s)
Just a teaser. Not great cam skills but I'll work on it and also work on some descriptions of the process.
A few notes. The servo had to be moved back. The best I came up with was to drill new mount holes and install the mounts backwards. Also had to move the Rx to the other side. Note the GIGANTIC old school Air Rx. Anybody else still running the Caliber 3PS? I had to stand off the front top brace, but it doesn't seem to effect flex or handling. I also had to grind a little off the front of the drag link for clearance with the front gearbox. Fun stuff.
