Default What's the shelf life of tyres???

Hi all,

I have accumulated many sets of losi and proline tires and was wondering how long they should last sealed in their packaging and stored in a cupboard...

I easily have a year's worth of tires. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

Im sure the rubber will last for awhile. The foams will more than likely deterioate.

the tires will be ok as long as package is sealed. but the foams may be in trouble after awhile. wiling to bet your running trinity or two stage proline foams anyways, so it really wouldn't matter.

They will last a long time, especially sealed. I still have a pair of Pro Line Super Squares that must be at least 6-7 years old and they still feel the same as any other used m3 tire I have.

Cheers guys, that gives me some peace of mind.

I've seen molded foam inserts for 1/8th tires. Is there such a thing for 1/10th scale?

AzBobby, sorry no bet coz you would win!!

Cheers
