Default New Avante MKII from Tamiya

Based on the DF-03 chassis Tamiya is releasing a new Avante. No chassis-shots yet

Holy snap! The avante body was always cool. To bad that aren't gonna bring back that over-engineered chassis too. Tamiya continues to re-live the old skool days..........

Oh I LOVE these. Agree the body is just great.

I was sad I wasn't into them in 2001 when that edition came out so this is great news for me.

Any further info yet?

Very nice, can't wait to see chassis shots. Wish the Dark Impact buggy looked more like that. Not a fan of the dark impact buggy body

Cheers

Chassis is just the same as the Dark Impact.

The body looks a little disappointing from other andgles, it is hard-edged rather than the rounded curves of the original Avante...

There is a pic on Tamiyaclub somewhere but I can't find it right now!

Looks pretty sweet. My cousins have an original. I remember when we built it it was extremely difficult because we'd all just had Hornets before that. I've built about a hundred kits since(I worked for a hobby shop in highschool), but I still remember that being one of the tougher builds. Parts galore!! Classic piece though.
