...so the old XXX-NT Sport 2 thread wasn't "official"?

These trucks are awesome, and the motors are pretty darn strong for a RTR .15.

I was still referring to an existing "XXX-NT Sport" thread from a while ago. You can find it by searching the Offroad Forum.

maybe he wanted this thread specific for version 2? exactly what is different between version 1 and version 2? I remember when version 1 was getting cleared out had great deals on them, like 230 shipped.

Chrome wheels, Fury body, rear-exhaust Mach .15, and the updated "i" JR radio system.

I always recommend using threads that have already been started, because there are usually posts with information already in them. That's all.

Yeah, no big deal.

The II (your truck) comes with a rear exhaust engine (hence the RE in Mach 15RE). That's one of the changes they made for the newer version of the truck.

Well cool RE stands for rear exhaust

Finished my 6th tank I think my HSN is right on but done a few WOT passes and checked temp and was 240 F ..Not bad!! so I richened it up on the LSN 1/8 and temps dropped to 220 to 230 ... Still a little sluggish off the line though.. I wish I new actually how many turns CCW I have it on but Ive been playing by Temp, feel, and ear! still emiting fuel out exhaust which is probably good thing any more pointers? 7th tank can I start fine tuning the LSN now?

On the 8 tank it sputtered on top end and sluggish on take off! What do I do professionals? It wanted to run hot at 240ish So I would stop and let it Ildle down the temps!

When tuned aggressively, the engine might run a bit hot, in the 240-260 range (or hotter, but I'm not going to recommend it, haha). While not great, it shouldn't really hurt the engine as long as it's not so lean that it starves for fuel.

The engine will change tune as it breaks in. Make sure you keep the air filter clean and oiled too.

You can check your needle settings. Count the turns it takes to tighten the screw down (don't crank on it) and then back the needle off the same amount. Then you'll know where your needles are set.

If you feel like the engine isn't running right, or that you may have made a mistake, re-set your needles back to their original settings and start over.

It was running around 240 or so maybe tiny bit hotter but Im going on my 8th tank .Is that nothing to be bothered by?....almost finished a quart of fuel. It was spitting at WOT, but from punch through mid range WOWs me how can I get that top end sputter or power drain shook out?

Trying to recall here but I think you need to richen the hi speed needle slightly. Do you have a nice blue trail of smoke coming from the vehicle when you send it on its way?
