Kinwald did not leave Losi. He has had health issues and they dropped him. This should be a lesson for all young drivers out there who think it is glamorous to be a factory driver. They did not provide health insurance, a retirement plan or anything that a normal job would offer. He gave them their first World Championship and something like 25+ National titles, not to mention countless design innovations and this is how it ends.

Good luck Dirtinator.

Wow, that is such a shame. Ive long understood that being on the travel team isnt nearly as amazing as it seemed and that the pay wasnt top notch. I guess I failed to realize that even "employee/RD" status didnt entitle them to recieve full benefits. Its nice to see some truth come out from a reputable source

i used to think losi did a good job of supporting there drivers but i have heard some things like this about losi recently thats really upsetting. Unbelievable From a company that used to have a budget big enough to sponsor a formula 1 car. i also heard their 8ight was not made in the u.s. but in taiwan i guess thats why there is such a delay on the release.

Wow, thats big for Xfactory! Hope you'll be out there racing with the car soon Brian! If anybody can give the underdog a chance it'll be you. I guess you'll have to get the Losi out of your signature then eh? *edit* I guess that what you meant by I'll have to change that...

Greg, you have no clue.....

Brian, Good luck with your future racing, I've have nothing be great memories, from you hooking me up with AE, to racing with you (when I was kinda fast LOL) to winning Team Losi's first world championship and more. I hope that your health gets better and you get out to the track soon. Good luck with everything,
Rich
