Looks like a DT-02 chassis. I'm guessing you are talking about the Sand Viper, which is just a Desert Gator with a different body shell.

Int that a dynastorm, which is nothing like a Gator, the dynastorm is a proper racing buggy. Its OLD though, but was re-released fairly recently.

Those shocks look alot like they might be Losi units...or copies of them.

I'm not saying Tamiya makes bad shocks, just possible for testing they are using existing pieces.

You know what, you are right. I didn't look at the car close enough, and the sad part is, I had one just like it except it was called the Astute. My mistake, I assume since he was talking about a new Tamiya racing buggy, he was referring to the Sand Viper.

And yes, those are defintely Losi shocks.

Tamiya has a new buggy that they debuted at the Shizuoka Hobby Show. It looks like its based off the TA05 and is very BJ4 Worlds'ish (even has B4 arms for now...it IS a prototype). Here's some links:

Also a full option Dark Impact... also pretty cool:

^^^ The one at the top of the thread is a two wheel buggy. The pics you posted are of their prototype 4 wheel drive buggy. There is another big thread on this forum about the 4wd proto already.
