I just ran mine last week. This goes for any buggy, but you will want to take it apart and go through everything. Pay close attention to detail.
Some thing I learned with mine the first weekend out...
Locktight EVERYTHING!!!!!
watch you steering servo wire, it is close to the front brake, just make sure it clears
make sure your servo saver is set correctly
pay close attention to the brake setup, make sure the linkages don't touch the fuel tank.
Others,
The stock shocks arn't bad, they will get you going and feel pretty good, if you decide to run the stock shocks use a little blue lock-tight on the shock cap, make sure you don't over fill the shock.
Dont' use the stock foam, the tire that come in the kit are really good, use a molded insert.

My thoughts are that this is the electric off-road thread. I don't see a electric motor on the buggy or truggy?
