Hello, I want to get into 2wd buggy racing (in general rc).

a local guy is selling both a yz2 cal 2 and cal3.1 second hand.

I would like to know what the difference is between these two buggies.

is there even part support for the cal2 anymore.

The guy is offering me a combo deal with the 2 buggies together along with some spare parts and wheels & tires.

is it dumb to get both. Was think I could build the cal2 for my girlfriend & guests.

but my main worries are.

- are most of the parts interchangeable between the two buggies (considering they are both “yz2”)

- is it possible to even get spare parts for the cal2 version since it is so old.

my local hobby shop has 95% of the spare parts for the cal3.1 version but are they the same?


Sorry for the newbie question. The brand is extremely hard to find info about imo.
