Default Using Mugen Parts on Team Associated?

I've heard people using Mugen parts (like front/rear arms cause their stronger?) on their Team Associated 1/8 scale buggy/truggies. But I have the good ol original Team Associated RC8T (converted electric) and I'm looking for any tips/tricks/upgrades for this truggy. Been told to use certain Mugen silver front shock springs, and HB orange rear springs but is there anything else I should do to make this thing more bulletproof/better? How about the aluminum servo saver? Worth the money? Parts are hard to find. Especially a decent price anyway... ANY help will be much appreciated!

You might be better off getting an older Mugen.
