help with B4 setup sheet
I am trying to copy a setup sheet to my car.... thing is i dont understand a few things on it......
first off..... the battery placement...... it has the front checked on it.......so does that mean the battery is all the way to the front.... or does that mean the foam is in the front ????
other thing is..... on the shocks....... for the limiters they have marked....
"the front shock bottoms are unscrewed two full turns"
i have NO idea what that means..... please help me on this one......
last thing... steering block....... trailing or inline........... I have a FT B4 and i am unsure of what it comes with ?
Thanks for all the help

For the front shocks, it means there isn't any front limiters added inside of the shock. What they mean by the shock bottoms are unscrewed two turns means just that. If you take a look at the bottom of your shock shaft, there is a plastic eyelet with a pivot ball on the inside. That plastic eyelet is what gets turned out two full turns. Make sure the eyelet is fully bottomed out on the shaft before doing your 2 full turns out. This will add more downtravel to your shock in the front. On my B4, I personally run one limiter in the rear and turn the front eyelet out 1.5 turns.

The FT B4 comes with trailing. In most of the time, trailing blocks work the best. The inline will give you aggressive steering. An easy way to tell is if the axle is behind the vertical king pin, its the trailing axle. If the vertical king pin passes through the steering block, then its inline. The inline axles are optional, no kit comes with them.
