The Mugen should be competitively priced. They are rarely the most expensive respective to the other cars in their class. If anything, Associated pricing has gone up quite a bit over the years and only marginal quality increase.

Also curious on MSRP since Mugen isn't exactly cheap.

The rest look pretty ''normal'' very YZ2 esque. But yeah , I was hoping for something mayne a little more drastic ? I feel like 2wd and 4wd buggy have been looking the same with it comes to shaft drive for a good 5years
Sure, it would have been cooler had they rolled out something dramatically different from any other car on the market, but I doubt it actually would have been better. If you ask me what the best 2wd buggy design would be, I'd say TLR front end (post-mod) and AE rear end with a quick access diff, 13mm shocks, and mega adjustable chassis for weight distribution. Looks like they nailed this to me!

I can't wait to see the 4wd buggy also. My first Mugen was an MBX5 then MST1 and i've had mbx ecos ever since. I wish they would release a 1/10 truggy also but I'm glad to see they are getting in to the 1/10 scale classes now. Always thought Mugen was top notch and they always were very very close to my driving style with kit set ups. Big thumbs up to Mugen for this news. I have a feeling Adam Drake had some input in producing 1/10 offroad. Big props to Adam Drake for all the videos he puts out explaining set ups and promoting Mugen products. Quality and durability is always tops with Mugen!

Well, I doubt we’ll see a 1/10th Truggy, but because it’s still reasonably popular here in the states, it did sound like Adam will plead his case for making a Stadium Truck based on that 2WD… He did say “no promises” when asked during the interview. That said, Adam really is the People’s Champ! Let’s see if his influence is great enough. 🙂

Have you ever known a TLR 22 to break there?
Because its the exact same aluminum insert system that has been used on the 4.0 and 5.0

Oops, didn't know it break at the part, even with aluminum material.
