I'd I'd like to see a picture too. The only one I've ever known to break an upper plate is my Grandpa when he ate candy apples

Figured it must be an issue since top plates are sold out everywhere.

Maybe boiling this part before installing could remove some of the brittleness? Just an idea

Was it a hard hit though? Curious if this really is a weak part. I hope it isn't.

Perhaps it's sold out everywhere due to breakage. Or perhaps it's something that very rarely breaks and and there's not much reason to keep large quantities of spares in stock. If it's a weak part people have a right to know. However in the age of the internet an isolated incident can cause a car to get a bad reputation even if breakage is an extremely rare event

Looks like it took a rigid impact from the tower. Both front and rear sides of the upper support are snapped vertically. Chassis looks straight. Shock collars also look pretty worn for a new whip. Disclosure: i do not have one of these cars

Default Blank piston available

Just got the blank piston from LHS today. Drilled into 3 holes 1.4 and 3 holes 1.6. gonna try this with my regular shock oil (450cts) and see how it works.

New MSB1 blank pistons

Anyone have issues with shocks leaking? How did you resolve it? Assembled with green slime and were fine while sitting but after 1 practice session i have a dripping shock.
