Default buggys go bye bye?

Where's all the entry level buggy's at? I see Traxxas offers a model but they used to be standard entry level rc cars. buggys....not Traxxas.
Now the body style has flattened and turned into a truck or low sitting stadium truck almost.
I like the sand rail buggy's. Are these models fading out or away?

Should I just settle for a short course truck? Someone recommend a good buggy basher? Not a truggy. ty

Kyosho just released the SB. I believe it is based on the RB5. They have an unassembled and an assembled kit. Kyosho also has their throwbacks, but they are pretty much gone as soon as they get put on the shelf.

Hey that's nice.
ty I like kits and that looks nice. fun to build. lol.
I could always put the buggy looking body on that.
I see a lot of buggy chassis looking like stadium truck chassis or old pan cars. lol.

Are you looking for a basher or a race rig? Buggy racing classes are the most popular and there are several to choose from.

Yokomo and PR buggies, you were shown, are more for beginner racing. They have the mid motor design. The others have rear motors. Remember to keep in mind that parts availability is something you should consider. Doesn't matter which one you get, parts WILL break.

I agree. I dont want a buggy or kit buggy I have to order parts from japan, europe, or even aussie. lol
I just browsed and thinking maybe ill get a tamiya racing fighter kit.

this should be the happy medium between me just rallying and wanting to actually race it.
Local track is clay so ill need the knob tires like off the exc amp buggy.
this and the losi throw back should keep my buggy needs and wants at a minimum. lol
