Those front shocks are teeny tiny!
Aerodynamics are on point, they did a good job with the body.
Now the question is when.
The nitro version was supposed to be available in December, but even Team drivers still don't have them.

Sure doesn't look like there is room for full size lipo in saddle config.
If you can, why wouldn't they show that as an option?
Kyo gets away with it by running them super wide on the chassis.

Also there primary team driver Brandon Rhodes left, if the platform was really that game changing he would have stayed. I know others will say otherwise, but if you have a competitive advantage over others simply because of the engineering of the buggy you would be crazy not to want to use that weapon.

Yes it’s very unique. Great to see RC companies trying new things. However, the few videos I have seen of it don’t explain or demonstrate how the buggy is better than the existing dominant design. Yes they explain the features and new design, but they do not really provide strong data backed evidence demonstrating that’s it better. Shot out to JQ because in his videos he provides strong evidence and video showing what something is better. They could have easily taken a bunch of club drivers and had them drive the buggy to see if there was any improvements in lap times. The botched release only confirms my suspicions that they have not really done their homework on this and that it will not live up to the hype.

As far as the "botched release," Agama could have released the vehicle with the inferior quality components as other manufacturers do (AE Bearings, HB D2 Evo plastics, etc.) but why would they release a car with issues? They do absolutely everything they can from all angles to make sure the vehicle they are delivering lives up to everyone's expectations.
Going back to the videos, if you truly watched them, Jon specifically spoke about the advantages of the laydown suspension design. Rough quote, " when the car is up on two wheels about to tip, instead of completing the flip and going tumbling, the car settles back down on all four and goes." That was one of the items I remembered. Others such as increased corner speed, etc. were also mentioned.
As far as normal people driving this car. It has happened, it has overwhelmingly been positive in terms of car feel, decreased lap times, etc.
The trouble parts have been updated and all of that is in process now. There may even be a couple cars this side of the pond in the very near future and you will see what they're capable of for sure.

I can tell you I’ve been running 2 x 2s shorties for probably close to 5 years now in my ebuggies and never had an issue with finishing races and that was with one pair of batteries that were used all season and charged at 40a.

Aerodynamics is a huge advantage of this layout that no other car has.
RC is not all about aero like F1 is, but there are some benefits to be had that are largely ignored currently.
And it looks like Agama took advantage of them with that design/body.
