Default Traxxas rustler cvd upgrade having problem

My son has a traxxas rustler and we did a mip cvd rear axle upgrade and ever since we got it done and doesn't have the power like it should the car driver like the slipper clutch is all of the way tight and it's not, it doesn't roll smoothly, it feel like the whole rear end is really stiff and it kills of batteries like no other , any help will be much appreciated

I would start out by checking for any binding. If there is something binding it could be causing the problems you describe.
