Team Associated T3 transmission
Hello everyone. I'am experiencing a problem finding transmission parts for the T3. To be exact my diff and idler gears are toast. Surfed probably through everything in the web for hours without success. If I find a part the shipping cost starts from $40 while the part itself is $5 (I live in EU). The idler gear is 28T and diff is 48T. And to be more honest i have some kind of a replica its Thunder Tiger Phoenix ST II. And I'am pretty sure it uses the same transmission as T3. Is it possible to 3d print these parts? How do I model these gears so they precisely fit in the case? Can I use another maker gears and if yes where can i find them? What if i try to fit completely different transmission and what transmission could fit instead?
I will be very thankful for any answer I get

Try searching for the part numbers on Google. Thunder Tiger PD8210 gave me several results e.g. on Amazon Germany. I'll see if I can identify the idler gear, too

The transmission should be the same as the B3. You might have better luck finding those pieces using B3 as the search.

I can help you out with both if your okay with used parts.

The Idler gear (AE part #9360) shouldn't really be a problem, that was used by AE all through the B2, B3, and B4 series (as well as truck versions using this same trans T3, T4, SC10, SC10.2, etc) ... the (9365) Diff Gear, as you mentioned is a 48t, which was only used in the B2/B3/T3 trans to make it a 2.40:1 ratio, compared to the 52t used in the 4 series vehicles (2.60:1), so not much help there, as less were produced ...
As mentioned, try expanding your search using the AE part #'s above, and even by vehicle models, that may help find something on that side the pond ...
Edit to add: .. I just remembered that Custom Works used a 2.40:1 trans in their Outlaw 3 sprint car, which should be interchangeable with AE parts of the same trans ... I just checked and Diff Gear was part #4356, and Idler Gear was part #4354...
Good luck

The idler gear is still readily available in aluminum.
