Default Mini-Truggy / Tekno ET410 Racing Regulations - Motor Limits?

Is anyone seeing motor limits put on their local mini-truggy races?

It seems to be a sparsely populated class in my area, but my brother and I are jumping in on it - figure it'll be a fun winter carpet class that can pull summer duty on the 1/8th scale tracks. No limit at our local carpet track, but I'm really hoping the class takes off enough and motor limits would be imposed to level the field. Before we invest in the potentially wrong motors, are there any trends developing?

No limits on mini truggy at our carpet track. The track is small so it is somewhat self limiting. Several running 6.5 motors.

10.5 Truggy is a growing class at 2 tracks I race at. I’d like to try it. But can afford to add another class.

No limits out here in central Texas, though the 1/10 program has died off, most folks were running 550 SCT motors.

Someone tried to start a 10.5T spec class but it never took off, most folks running the class preferred an open motor with 2S being the only limit.

Someone who can beat you running a 5.5t motor will be able to beat you just as easily with a 10.5t motor and by just as wide of a margin.
