Default Is it the esc

I have a hobby wing 10bl120 brushless esc with a surpass 4370kv motor it worked great. I recently had to do some work on the car and when I put it back together the motor barely turns and the wires and motor get really hot after only a minute of trying to get it to work any ideas on what's wrong?

Don't know if you re-soldered the motor wires but check to see that there's no solder/wire touching between the a-b-c terminals. Creates quite the drag. Remove the pinion and make sure drive train is moving freely.

Make sure there's no washers/screws jammed in your motor. Make sure ESC wires are soldered correctly (orientation) and cleanly. Make sure the car drivetrain spins freely when the pinion gear is removed.

Check all your bearings (wheel) as well. I just had this same issue.
