I've been really enjoying my xmaxx. It's really durable, at least in my experience. I have an E-Revo 2.0 I got a good deal on used (I know, both traxxas, but I promise I'm not a fanboy) but it breaks a lot, and the xmaxx has been light years beyond in terms of how well it takes a beating. I think durability should be number 1 as far as bashers go.

I also have a redcat blackout which has proven reasonably durable, far more so than the E-Revo, but then it's nowhere near as fast or powerful as the E-Revo.

I say you can't go wrong with any of the Tekno Kits. They are very durable in my experience and nice to build. You could go for the newer Et/Eb 48 2.0's, or if you want a mt you could go for the mt410 although it is based on last-gen platform.
