Hi guys. I just picked up my first t6.2 the other day and got to drive it. I'm racing on astroturf at Larry's R/C.
Its a very fun car but I've noticed even with the brand new prisms it likes to spin out I've driven a b74.1 on this track and its impossible to spin it out. I'm wondering if this is a setup deal or how stadium trucks usually run. I've got it used so I'm not to sure what's
in it for setup.
If anybody has a setup they would chare for carpet/astro or any driving pointers would be highly appreciated!

I haven't run truck there, but I run SCT there and you need to soften up the rear.

Hm ill give that a shot. It has a 1.8 in the rear which is very excessive. Most people seem to run a 1.2 or a 1.3 it seems. i"ll give it a try this Saturday for sure
Since that post ive torn the diff apart and apparently their was barley and fluid in it. Ive filled it with 10k weight and im going to try that again.
For shocks I have 40 weight and silver springs on it all the way around.

Any speculation or rumors of a T7 version? Or just a new release.

They have this kit at a deep discount currently. Trying not to buy it.

Just getting around to building my T6.2 up (... don't ask. LOL!) and was wondering what you guys are running on CRC carpet for the gear diff.
I'm going with Jovy Levin's setup as a base starting point, but he doesn't specify if he is running 2 gears or 4 gears in the diff. What are most of you running??
I built it up with 4 gears and 5k fluid (instead of the 10k he specified, but that's easily changed and I run that in my buggy, and seems to work fine).
I will say this kit has been a joy to build, I know most don't like that AE kits still come a few parts on 'sprues' but I build plastic models so doesn't bother me in the slightest. I go over and trim all the plastic bits of any kit I build. And feel that next to Xray, Associated have some of the best shocks available.
