This forum for the 2wd and 4wd?

For the 2wd, what are you running for the center Diff, and what fluid in the rear Diff for high bite clay?

I've been running the Cobra Chassis 4wd for a year now, and love it. I bet this is would be very similar. I'm starting the 2wd build now, as I am waiting for the Prostar chassis to arrive.

I do have a a b64 Spool and b64 Slipper for the center diff. Seems like that may be a way to go? 13.5, not sure the slipper is needed?

This is a 2wd forum.
This SC210RT is really good on hi bite. I would run the ctr gear diff with 1 million and 15k in rear with only 2 gears.
I would only run the slipper on carpet.

1 million with one side open (No front driveshaft), Interesting. 2 gears? I have heard of that, but never a good debate on when to run 2 gears vs. 4 gears. I like it. I'll give it a try.
Currently I am printing 3D covers for the front Diff housing. To plug the holes where the outdrives and gear to the center driveline go. Then glue it solid, as I figure that is lighter than screws.

Yes with 2 gears will give you more volume off diff fluid and i feel it's give you more consistent feel!!
post up pics of the diff case when you are finished!!😁

Made some blanks for the Diff Bearings and Diff Pinion Bearing.
Published at: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4274127
Printed with PETG on a Prusa Mini, https://www.prusa3d.com/

I then glued them in, along with the Bulkhead cover. I figured it is lighter than using the Screws.

Getting ready for the new Prostar RC Chassis to arrive. Took apart my Donner et410. Dang, every inner hing pin was bent. I thought I was doing good maintenance, and a fairly OK driver. So going to spend more and pickup new eb410.2 A&B&C&D Blocks. 3.5 inner hing pins, and the new et410 swing arms with 3.5 holes.

Getting ready for the Chassis to arrive. Starting with a b64 Spool in the middle, shaved one end off. Eb410.2 C&D blocks, Sway bar mount. New style et410 3.5mm swing arms. Lunsford heavy duty turnbuckles. I race 13.5, so figure I wanted the lighter spool. But I do have a b64 slipper, if needed.

There was talk about running 2 gears in the diff. How you do that? Just remove 2 gears? Or you have to cut the X thing that holds the 4 gears down? Any advice on plus/minus. My thoughts are I liked the savings of weight of the Graphite gears, about 9 grams per diff. But my 4wd 13.5 buggy started eating them. But 2 metal in the diff, hmmmm.
