Default TLR 8ight X/XE - Replacement Front Shocks

I’ve had the XE now for about a month and have had to replace the shock shaft twice, I didn’t even take hard crashes to warrant a bend in the shock shaft. Are there replacement shocks you recommend? Maybe from a different kit or aftermarket?

Thanks!

Mugen of equal length big bore 16mm, they tend to be more expensive than tlr.

I plan on replacing the rear on my 8e4 with Mugen.

I bent the rear badly on my 8ight, I bent it back thou, using cotton cloth doubled up on a bench vise, and a 1/2 inch nut setter driver with cloth over the shaft shoved into the nut setter. It took several attempts to get within 0.1mm
Removing the piston screw ruined the collar on the shaft, made a brass bushing for the piston was easy enough.

Re tempered with a map gas torch, quenched in water. Heat treated with a propane torch and air cooled several times.

Thou I did get a replacement, I will be keeping the reworked shaft as a spare next season.
