The kit comes with everything you need...the only thing I would buy are the updated C Hubs (LA387b) for spares or the Exotek Aluminum C Hubs (only in 10 degrees).
Carbon shock towers and chassis stiffeners are nice to have but not a must.

Why is there no love for kyosho? It seems hobby shops and racers avoid them. Is there something I’m missing? I remember back years ago that’s all any racer wanted.

Yup, when I got into rc in 2016 kyosho was just about king. My rc8.2 had a few kyosho parts on it. It was kinda like the "rule" that you had to have kyosho springs and some other kyosho stuff on rc8.2. From what little I've seen on the 10th scale side they are fragile. On the 8th scale side nobody seemed happy with geometry, always using old car front/rear ends... They are rare around here anymore, they used to be almost king. At a big race I might see 5 kyosho's, probably less at a 10th scale race.

There coming back just had to update the cars cause everyone caught up to them. But the more that races them and better info we give each other these cars will be back up front. I have enjoy all my new kyosho cars. And more I drive them the faster they are getting. It just takes time, cause we are seeing the team starting to get better with every race.

personally haven't really seen too much kyosho 1/10 offroad these parts. 1/8 it used to have a good following but from the complaints I heard, people didn't like the cost of parts relative to the excessive chassis wear they saw on the 1/8 vehicles, especially when a hardened chassis I think was released but not included in the kits?

All that said, be cool to see some of these running, in particular this car since we do get a variety of vehicle types even some schumachers.

I run the entire Kyosho fleet and have had awesome results with them! ZX7 is dialed on carpet!

no 'kit', you buy kyosho springs in pairs. you also re-mortgage your house in order to afford them.

take a look at other brand spring kits

hey guys, i was looking at parts and noticed the HCG bulkheads. What the purpose for these bulkheads? Are they more for carpet than dirt?

They are mainly for carpet. They are carbon composite which stiffer.

The whole fleet has been updated and new stuff is in the works now. They are making option parts for the 8th scales and a new E-Buggy will likely be the next new car even though the MP9e Evo is a great car they plan on making it better. The 10th scales are great and dont really need much, but I'm sure they'11 be next after the E-Buggy.
