Hpi Nitro MT-2 engine problem please help!

I've spent soooooo much money on my MT-2 and now the engine wont start and theres small bits of shiny metal in the oil/fuel coming out of the exhaust!
What's happened? I'm guessing somethings shredded inside but i don't know what as i'm relatively new to nitro

Can someone with intellect please tell me what's going on?

how long have you had it? If it is fairly new you could send it back to hpi. Give them a call to see what they say about it.

Generally anything metal coming out of the exhaust pipe is not good. You could take the motor apart and see whats up, but since you said you are a newbie, I wouldn't. Odds are something inside the motor had failed causing the metal to come out of the pipe.

Best thing you could do is to take it back to your lhs and get someone there to help you out.
