3624 grams.on my 8XE watch your lipo weight. I just got a fantom 6500 that weighs 40 grams lighter than a EAM 6500

7.75 pounds with badland tires on. Lighter with racing tires on.

Thanks heaps guys, my RTR is not so heavy after all, weight is 6.15 lbs plus 2 x 2s lipos 1lb = 7.15lbs

But, I drove an E-buggy yesterday and was probably about one second per lap faster,... without my radio, and tires of choice.

...I'm feeling like I might have to! lol.

Default Aluminum Front Chassis Brace (TLR341014) not compatible

Anyone looking to get this upgrade, which is listed on TLR website as well in the actual manual from the box to be compatible with the 8ight X-E, WILL NOT fit the 8ight X-E. This will ONLY fit the 8ight X (nitro); the chassis for both are slightly different. TLR/Horizon Hobbies are aware of this but I just wanted to give anyone a heads-up before they go and purchase this like I did.

That aluminum front brace was never intended to fit the 8XE. Unfortunately, it was mislabeled on the website as being compatible with both. Should be fixed soon.
