Driveshaft pins - is too long a bad thing?

Hi guys. I am about to change some driveshaft pins and the ones I have are longer than the original size by 1mm. Is there a downside to this?

Unless it causes binding somewhere it shouldn't be an issue. I have used longer ones in a pinch before.

I didn't think there would be an issue but in this hobby what seems like harmless can bite you sometimes. Thanks.

No issues with using pins that were 1mm longer as well
