Drake is an rc icon allready...

Drake just won Southern Nationals. Look at Losi 1/8 success since Drake left. He's way more to Mugen than just a racer.

I guess we went from where is Cav, to finding out you don't much care for Drake! Ok, we get it.

He's probably prepping for the Nitro Worlds instead of some regional 1/10 scale event.

This doesn't mean he doesn't have the expectation to win. But Mugen has Maifield and Battle, who's main focus is win at all costs.

Drake is like Brian Kinwald. Both of them are valuable to the industry, no matter what team they're on. All of their R&D and behind the scenes work are invaluable. A lot of his vids I personally may already know how to do but they are great for beginners or even a refresher if you've been out for a while. One thing I don't like is he never lets the local club racers win...always beating on them...ya big bully!!! haha j/k.
I even teased him on one of the posts to let someone else win(I think it was JBRL series) and he actually responded back in a comical way!!! I was just glad he responded!!!!

As for Cav, I'm hoping JQ. Even though JQ is gaining some serious momentum as of late, he would really boost the program!

He's not retiring, he's leaving AE and going to another team.

I just bought my first 1/8th e buggy. MBX8 ECO Mugen Seiki! I bought it because of Adam Drake. I watched all his videos on the car and decided between this and the Tekno solely because of his representation of the product. It's not because he wins it is because he represents... and he drives the feth out of cars.

Dude has been nothing but helpful and is approachable in the pits. Wish he club raced in our area more so everyone can all learn from him.
