A couple of basic questions
I normally race on road so I have a couple of questions that I'm almost embarrassed to ask?
1. Does this thing need a servo saver? All my other cars (on road and off road) use them. Why not this one?
2. What weight shock oil should I be using with the shocks built per the instructions? Carpet racing and clay.
3. Where should I be looking for spare/hop up parts in the U.S.?
Thanks

2 375/325 or 35/32 on clay and adjust from there but check petite rc setup sheets
3 kyosho America or Amain if your local hobby shop does not offer parts support first

1 NO if a concern use the stock plastic arm (I don't but I run a protek 160t servo with a TLR arm) usually you will wreck something else before killing the servo like a c hub knuckle or arm ball cup

Are there any other bodies (Kyosho or otherwise) that fit the RB7?

Please share, so we have a gauge on it's durability.
I used to drive a rb5 then a rb6, so I'm definitely interested in the rb7. But the track I drive on is wide... But had mad jumps (we had an epic quad).
Thanks much!

Thinking about adding a brass rear suspension holder. Anyone have lots of time on this chassis that can objectively comment? I've got the aluminum piece in the kit on there at the moment.
I'm taking the car apart to add Ti ballstuds n turnbuckles, major front end aluminum bits and some exotek parts, including the new motor plate.
All feedback welcome.

I prefer the Alum on carpet where there is already plenty of grip.

Anyone use vrp pistons on these shocks? What were the results?

Using lcg lipo now, anyone using any of the aftermarket battery mount kits that might work? Ruddog makes some rb6 stuff, dunno if they bolt up or not.

I just installed the new Exotek Lipo mount and it works perfect with my 22,5mm Lipo. You can go down to about 19,5mm without spacers.

Bummer, I just picked the kit up as well. Do you have some better pics of it? I know I'm gonna have to move my wires somewhere else at the very least...not looking forward to that part.

I think without some dremeling and modifications you won't be able to use a 16mm Lipo. I may post some pictures later the week.
