Hi all,

I have just purchased a CAT L1. Very excited to get this buggy up and running last had the the K1.

Could you guys give me any suggested tips and tricks for the buggy? I will be racing Mod with a 6.5t motor for now.

We race on tracks that have carpet (that you would use in your house) laid over the original off-road track so they are not smooth like indoor, but not bad.

Any advice and/or tips would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

After some testing, how does it perform compared to the K1?

Based on the results, it looks like Team Schumacher and the L1 performed well at the Reedy Race.

We have been developing some new products and setups and it’s really paid off at the reedy race. We had fast lap all weekend and held 2nd place after 4wd racing finished 👍
dikke hond and CRJSW like this.

Michal did an amazing job and it is worth noting that he had the fastest 5 minute time in 4wd of the entire race.

Tony, on the KC did he use the -5 C/F chassis? What was he using for CVDs given the shorter driveshaft needed when running the L1 rear?

Is the above quote referring to the KC or L1? Will it be an ”Evo” model?

How long for the pocketed chassis? Will there be an Evo kit (including braces and chassis) offered?

Default L1 Durability

Ok, be honest, how is the durability of the new L1? I am about to order one of these for a killer price and every one is saying fragile fragile fragile! I mean honestly how does it compare to a xb4, b64, and others in terms of its durability? Also belts compared to shafts? Should I be worried or should I be the maverick and run what NOBODY else runs!

what spares should be purchased if I get because Schumacher is not that popular around here. Sorry for the redundant question!
