Agreed. Buggy and truck still run very well and are very competitive.

yeah I have heard some rumors more on the buggy side but curious. Not in a big rush right at this moment since the season is over where I would use it, but heck you never know if an excellent deal pops up lol

Ran my truggy last night for the 1st time in a while. The truck handles great, gets great traction and jumps great. I still get a rear end slap on landings that is very annoying. I went to the stiffer springs and changed my shock set-up and still not much different. My only complaint about this truck but it is annoying.

sooo, what's everyone's opinion on shock pistons?

Anyone running the MIP Bypass 1, VRP or any others out there?
Any noticeable difference?

i ran 8 hole pistons front and rear and the truck seemed pretty good. 8x1.2 w/42.5 front
8x1.3 w/40 rear. Blue springs front and rear.

Are those the kit or associated option parts or MIP or VRP???

I'm currently running AE 8x1.2T w/ 37.5F & 8x1.3T 35R (the rears are the FT option part that are also angled as well, fronts are what came with the kit)

youd be better off running the kit 8 hole pistons. i dont see too many people running the angled hole pistons with success. and try a lil heavier shock oil. i think youre a tad too light.

Bumpy, low traction track. Weather in the 50's, sometimes lower during quals/mains. The fast guys running the same setup as well

i would still suggest trying the black kit pistons over the angled ones.

All I got in the kit besides the 6 hole(flat) were the 8x1.2 tapered.

already tried those.

Current setup feels real good. Just messing around with anti squat to try and get the rear planted.

same here. Rear end in the truck wants to break free really easily. Using the correct tires. What have you tried as far as anti squat goes?

so far only what one of the locals suggested. Middle on c block, lowest and farthest out on d block. Not so good.

I now now have it on lowest middle on c and same as before for d. Yet to test.

Just need forward bite bite and I can definitely finish a lot higher.
