Default Tire choice for 8ight T

Hello all,

Im looking for some tires for my Losi 8ight T E 3.0. I drive on loose rocks/gravel and hard dirt. Ive got two candidates;

I could either get 8 of these (or 4 pairs)

Fastrax 1:8 Truggy X-Block Mounted on White Dish Wheels (FAST1090WD)

Or I could get 4 of these

Pro-Line Badlands 3.8 (Traxxas Style Bead) (1178-00)

Pro-Line Velocity VTR 4.0 White Dish (2800-04)

The Fastrax would cost me 84 pounds incl. shipping and the Pro-Line 97 pounds. Which one be more bang for my buck? Durability will also be taken into consideration

I run the Badlands and love them. I’ve never tried the Fastrax so I can’t comment on those. If you’re bashing, another tire to consider are the Dboot Backflips from the Arrma Outcast. Check their dimensions though. They are taller than truggy tires which might suit you better if you’re bashing.

Badlands seem to be the go to for the bashing tire on the truggies or tracks with those characteristics.

Thank you for your reply. Are the two Proline that I showed compatible? Can I glue the badlands to the VTR dish rims? Would they fit?
