Hey guys, I am having some trouble deciding on what to do here. Can anyone give me some advice on if keeping my old E-revo and updating it, or buying a new E-maxx is the way too go? Its going to cost roughly around $400 - $450 to update old, thats including lipos and all that as i want to change from 3s to 2s as it gets too hot for bashing. Or looking at the new E-maxx, or even the new E-revo.. My E-revo is the 2010 #5908 model.
Any advice on the E-maxx??
I do have a HPI baja SS, but that is a whole different thing.
If anyone has some suggestions on trucks, then feel free to inform me.
Some advice would be great!

What are you updating on the current revo?
Personally I would not buy an E-Maxx, especially considering the brushed model can destroy itself on nimh batteries, I can't even imagine what the brushless version could do to itself. I would for sure go with the new E-Revo before an E-Maxx, Traxxas really did their homework on that one.
Are you looking for something similar in size to the E-Revo or E-Maxx.
Are you stuck on Traxxas?
I've heard a lot of good things about the Team Magic E6 III BES can also be found under the Team Redcat TR-MT8E BES6 Team Magic Model Industrial Co. Ltd. - Team Magic TM505006R Team Redcat TR-MT8E BE6S 1/8 Scale Brushless Monster Truck

If money isn’t a problem, do you have any other recommendations?

Totally different vehicles. The E-Revo is, for all intents and purposes, a truggy with extra-wide and extra-squishy suspension. The E-Maxx is one of the few true body-on-frame monster trucks left in the RC world. You're going to get significantly different handling from an E-Maxx than an E-Revo, and you need to take that into consideration. Among other things, if you want to corner worth a damn with the E-Maxx, you'll need to hack together your own swaybar solution -- doable, but you do need to at least be able to bend piano wire accurately.
Anyway, Traxxas completely overhauled the E-Revo, so I'd just buy a new one instead of upgrading the old one. You won't save any money by the time you're done buying all the upgraded parts individually.

Hey mate, thanks for the advice. I checked out all of your links and I am very interested in the team magic. I know the Redcat and the Team Magic are the same but I like the parts on the Team magic. Do you have one? And would the parts be easy to replace?
