Many off road car owners recommend applying Loctite to everything with threads on it before you ever operate the vehicle. If I remember correctly, there are different levels of "Loctiteness", which are identified by colors. The red used to be permanent, and ususally was only applied to those nuts, screws, bolts, etc., that were never intended to be removed again. I'm thinking I wouldn't want to use red because parts will have to be replaced from time to time. What color should I use?
