I want to build this
If I built it according to specs, would it be best to start with Traxxas slash 2wd? I was looking at parts list and it was adding up more than the cost of a new Traxxas 2wd.
Second question, this has slash wheelbase. I'd really like to have closer to stampede wheelbase, but I don't think there is lcg stampede chassis.
Goal would be to put Traxxas 4-tec 2.0 mustang body on it, and that has much closer wheelbase to stampede than to a slash.
Thanks in advance for any assistance!

It kind of like the Old Associated RC10DS car from/the 90's

I'm not sure about all the parts, but the parts shown in purple in your first post/pic are available from Jconcepts through their shapeways page ( https://www.shapeways.com/shops/jconcepts )

First, don't worry that this is a bandit and this is on-road forum, lol. The Nova body is on order. As noted in previous post the wheels will probably take a few weeks.
Wheelie bar works pretty good. In the first from the lowest position the front wheels stay like an inch off the ground under full throttle, but it has excellent traction and somehow tracks straight. It feels like it would wheelie forever though, maintained front wheels up the whole block in front of my place. (It's a short block)
With the wheelie bar at lowest position the front wheels stay down, but you can tell the front end is light. I don't know why, maybe because less weight transfer, but it was more difficult to control at the launch with wheelie bar in lowest position. Got a little squirrelly, and tires spun more. Also, at least with the bandit tires the wheelie bar is so low it can rub ground when turning. I would think the wheels should just roll though.
Traxxas gyro was always turned completely off so I don't get made fun of

Are the rear tires pretty firm?
