If you are lookin into MOA rigs I would say XR10 is probably the most supported rig out there. The aftermarket support is never ending. There are axle manufactures like Enroute Berg but they haven't made anything new in years. If you are looking at complete kits my top 2 would be Axial and Losi. Everyone else is sub second teir.

That's the thing. There really isn't anything "new" on the market. Unless you go with an Exceed which I wouldn't recommend cause quality kinda sucks and replacement parts are hard to come by. I currently have 3 comp crawlers. 2- XR10's and 1 shafty. The XR's are by far more capable than anything I've come across as of late.

Be prepared to spend a lot of money on an XR10 to make it last longer than 2 min. They discontinued it a while back. They are very fragile in the stock form. I would go with Bully axles and an aftermarket chassis. RC Crawler has sections set up for the individual crawler types and brands out there and you can make a better decision that way.

I know the scx10 ismore of a scaler ,but iv had no problem with durability a few miner upgrades for my driver preference, and axial website is a big help my win is axial ! Also u can pretty much find anypart for the ax 10 in anycolor imagined on ebay.. So it tends to be pretty awsome..

If you don't plan to use the truck at a serious comp and are just using it to run around on trails get an SCX10 or a Deadbolt. If you want the best comp crawler those are built from parts, the XR10 is about the best kit option, but I would recommend RC4wd gears. Do some research....... some of the MOA rigs cost can approach $2000 dollars pretty fast.

Default wraith

I just got a new wraith kit and built it. So far I am happy with the truck, LEDs from advance auto. Strc alum, and working on 4 wheel steering. And bead lock axial rims. I don't not want the dig and glad I went with 4w steering. I got a new front axle and built it like the rear. I am using strc alum steering linkage cause u can flip it over and use it on either end.

Wow so this took a turn in a different direction. If you are gonna scale instead of comp and your worried about always flipping that I would suggest a Deadbolt or Wraith. They both utilize the AR60 axles set which are wider and have a longer wheelbase around 14" compared to 12ish" for a scx than standard axial axles and offer up more stability.plus they both can go considerably faster than a SCX.
