I went up and ran my 8ight-e, 22, and SC10 for a few hours. The layout was cool and there were zero rocks. Talked with their staff for a while and it sounded like they are doing everything right. I think I may have been the first person to pay - practice fees were too high.

Practice was only $10 in additon to the one time $10 season pass when i was there last friday. I think thats quite a fair price for an indoor track.

What is the racing and practice schedule look like? Is there a website with all of the info?

I would like to come down and check it out. Looks like a very professionally built track.

Art, the facility is open every day http://unserracing.com/general-info/hours-directions/

The track is open the same hours as the facility time as i understand it. The sign in location for the RC track is the same as for Karting so they can monitor who is using the track.

I went down there today and spoke with Graham. Stand up guy and a racer himself. Him and Lenard did a great job with the track. As The Rev indicated, the track is open the same hours (fantastic hours) as the go-kart track, on the link he provided. They are open now for practice and there were three people down there today when I was there. The track and pits look great. There are many pit spaces, compress air, a sink, pool tables, video games, a large drivers stand, etc.. The view from the stand is quite good. The lanes are wide, the straight long, and the dirt looks good. According to Graham, they plan to start racing in 6-8 weeks after they finish the announcing booth. They plan to race 1/10 and 1/8 electric. Graham seems to think the facitility can handle nitro, but they are not going to offer that class right away.

Enjoy a vid and some pics from my crappy phone:

Default Prices?

Anyone know what the prices are? I assume they have an annual membership and then a practice and race fee?

Has anyone got the tire situation figured out at the track yet? It would be nice to have something that is at least close to working for practice down there. I don't have the money to be spending $30 a set on multiple tires just to find out they don't work. Maybe Unser can order up a variety of tires for some of the fast guys to test with?

Yes we did get the tires figured out. 1/10 2wd and short course, when the track is wet jconcept green compound barcodes, for the 2wd guys front tires jc "rips". When the track is dry blue compound barcodes work gd. Proline m4 compound for wet conditions and m3 for dry conditions. Aka supersoft victours wrk well also.
